Matt has performed with the Houston Symphony, Galveston Symphony, Pasadena Philharmonic Orchestra, Reading Symphony Orchestra, and Chautauqua Symphony. Additionally, he performs with bands including The Grateful Geezers and Summer Street. Matt has spent his summers performing at the Sewanee Summer Music Festival, Chautauqua Music School Festival Orchestra, and the American Institute of Musical Studies in Graz, Austria.

Matt Flanders holds an M.M. from Temple University, where he studied with Alan Abel and Chris Deviney of the Philadelphia Orchestra, and completed his B.M. at the University of Miami and under the study of Matthew Strauss and Svet Stoyanov.
